Returning after 25 years! The TSO returns to American soil for their U.S. concert
tour. Prior to their journey abroad, the TSO gives local audiences a first listen
to the works featured on the tour. Winner of the TSO‘s first Young Talent
Competition and the 2017 Lincoln Center Award for Emerging artists, violinist
Paul Huang is recognized on an international scale. In this program, he will
be performing Dvořák’s violin concerto, Op. 53. The program will begin with
the world premiere of a commissioned work from Taiwanese composer
Ching-Wen Chao, and closes with Tchaikovsky's fourth symphony, revealing
the expressiveness and versatility of the TSO.
