Introduction
The angelic sounds of the choir please the ears, the inspirational melody
of bass instruments is bright and stunning. What becomes of the dialogue
between the two? Anton Bruckner is widely recognized as accomplished
and creative symphony composer of the romantic period but few are
aware that he was a pious Christian. He has produced over 150 choir pieces
during his time, most of which are hymns. This convert allows the audience to
experience the magnificent results of combining choir with brass instrument
as well as the delicate relationship created by complementing each other.
